Since her divorce from preacher and self-help author DeVon Franklin was finalized this past June, actress Megan Good has been busy working on her next life act. Having just celebrated her 41st birthday, she embarked upon an “Eat, Pray, Love” journey through Italy with her sisters, finished taping season two of her hit Amazon Prime show “Harlem” and is currently appearing alongside Jamie Foxx in the Netflix movie “Day Shift.”

Now she’s making strides toward a fresh residential start, having picked up a quintessential midcentury ranch house in Hollywood Hills. Records show the “Think Like a Man” and “Stomp the Yard” star doled out a speck over $2.8 million for the three-bedroom, two-bath residence, a hefty $300,000 over the original $2.5 million asking price.

Tucked away on a rare street-to-street parcel, the stucco and shingle-roof structure is accessed via a gated courtyard, with an oversized front door pivoting into 2,000 square feet of living space boasting creamy-hued interiors complemented by eye-catching canyon and city lights vistas.

Among the highlights: an entry foyer adorned with the original stone floor, which flows to a living room sporting a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning rock fireplace with a travertine floating bench, along with walls of glass spilling out to backyard gathering spaces hosting a wraparound pool, central courtyard topped with sail shades and turf-clad lounging spot. A dining area flanked by a built-in wet bar/coffee station connects to the galley-style kitchen, which is outfitted with top-tier Viking and Bosch appliances.

Elsewhere in the house is a spacious master retreat featuring sliding glass doors leading to a private terrace, a large walk-in closet, and mosaic-tiled bath equipped with dual vanities and a “party-size” shower. In addition to the aforementioned outdoor amenities, the nearly half-acre grounds also host an attached two-car garage that’s been converted into the perfect locale for an office, gym or studio.
