This final step in Genshin Impact's "The Bunkoku Enigma" quest rewards diligent puzzle-solvers with Primogems and a Luxurious Chest.

Genshin Impact fans don’t want to miss out on the generous treasures embedded in the dark landscape of a corroded Enkanomiya in The Three Realms Gateway Offering event. Amidst all the little Sigil-gathering tasks and more formidable cleansing puzzles, The Bunkoku Enigma is a less obvious side quest with ample rewards. After initiating the Three Realms event and speaking to the Sangonomiya Soldier named Yabe, Genshin Impact players are tasked with retrieving seven stone slates supposedly linked to Bunkoku’s Secret Treasure.

The stone slates are scattered in three Enkanomiya locations plagued by Corrosion. Players will need to level up their Bokuso Box by completing puzzles and defeating enemies, then collecting Light Realm Sigils from awarded chests. Light Realm Sigils are exchanged at the Statue of the Vassals. Once the seven stone slates are collected, return to the original chamber tucked away near the center of Dainichi Mikoshi.

Approach the inlaid dais to prompt the “Insert” dialogue box. The stone slates must be arranged to match the pattern on the ceiling of the room below:

With a total of nine spaces and eight stone slates, there should be an empty space in the middle of the square. Maneuver the slates such that the darker patches mimic the shape on the ceiling. When the slates are in the correct position, the puzzle will glow blue in the following pattern:

Solving this Genshin Impact puzzle eliminates the Abyssal lock on the corresponding mechanism. Activate the mechanism and the subsequent cutscence illustrates the rock crumbling to reveal a secret chamber beneath the arrangement of slates. Investigate the room to acquire the final stone fragment leaning against a pillar.

Next, speak to the Shade of Tokoyo “Koyanagi.” He'll complain about Bunkoku, but most importantly, he'll generate an electro portal. Touching the portal swiftly delivers Travelers back to the mechanism in the room above.

Approach the mechanism and select “Deactivate Phantasm” to repair the hole in the floor. Insert the new slate and activate the mechanism once again. Prepare for battle and jump back down into the secret chamber, now slightly changed and occupied by a Vengeful Guardian Spirit. Defeating the misguided spirit spawns a hefty Luxurious Chest.

Talk to Koyanagi’s afterimage, and pull the lever to raise the iron gate. Koyanagi reveals he was possessed by the dark elemental forces summoned by Bunkoku, and players are now prompted to return to Yabe and relay the tale. Speaking to Yabe awards 3 Hero’s Wits and 40 Primogems, completing The Bunkoku Enigma quest.
